Manufactured in controlled factory conditions using Quality Assured concrete, both precast and prestressed precast concrete wall panels provide a known performance, unlike traditional in-situ ‘poured’ walls reducing the need for specialist and costly engineering input. Prestressed concrete with its high strength and robust properties eliminates potential damage to the concrete bunker walls from constant out-loading. The durability reduces the risk of contamination of the stored material with wall fragments.
