Silage Clamps
Horizontal Prestressed Panels are a great solution for the perimeter walls for open clamps.
Here again the panels are simply clipped to the inside face of the steel columns using the bolts & plates provided and the joints sealed with the one part polyurethane mastic sealant provided.
Installation is quick and easy and the system provides a smooth wall which is good for outloading and protects the columns from the silage effluent as well as from the inevitable knocks from machinery.
Internal Division Walls
Horizontal Panels are not the ideal system because the steel columns are exposed to the silage and protrude into the clamp on one side, but they can be used to construct division walls.
Double loading panels fitted between the webs of the columns using angle irons bolted in the gap to provide support to the panels.
Alternatively, a double skin wall where the panels are fitted to the both faces of the columns provides a smooth wall on both sides and overcomes the issue of the steel columns next to the silage.
Silage Barns
Horizontal Panels are the ideal wall solution for silage barns where the building columns can be used to support the panels.
The panels span between the steel columns and are simply clipped to the inside face using the bolts & plates provided and the joints sealed with the one part polyurethane mastic sealant provided.
This provides a robust, smooth wall that protects the building columns from erosion by the silage & effluent as well as knocks from outloading machinery.

Silage Clamps
Prestressed Vertical Panels are the perfect choice for open silage clamp walls, both for the perimeter and division walls.
The panels are installed into a foundation 550mm deep, tied in with reinforcing bars & cradles provided, forming a smooth wall both sides for easy outloading.
All ACP Vertical Panels are double loading so another clamp can be added on at the side if required in future.
Internal Division Walls
Vertical Cantilever Panels are the ideal choice for permanent division walls in new build silage barns or clamps, where the perimeter walls maybe constructed using Horizontal panels.
As above the panels are tied into the foundation giving a smooth wall both sides and a perfect 90° floor to wall joint.
Silage Barns
Although not usual there are instances where Vertical Cantilever Panels may be the best choice for perimeter walls in a silage barn.
